Campaigns
In my work with a range of different international organisations (from non-profits to UN agencies and everything in between), I've been lucky to work on a range of exciting, impactful, and mission-driven campaigns. Find a snapshot of some of my favourites below.
UN Food Systems Summit (2021)
I provided press office and media outreach support for a global United Nations summit held in Rome, Italy. I briefed spokespeople, developed media materials, and helped lead the Summit's engagement of English-language outlets worldwide, as one part of a multilingual and international press team.


World Food Prize (2022)
I helped develop an outreach strategy for the winner of the 2022 World Food Prize, often referred to as the 'Nobel Prize for Food'. I helped secure a variety of high-profile interviews for the winner with high-profile outlets (Associated Press, NPR, and others) under embargo, ensuring there was a significant splash of media coverage when this lifted and the winner was officially announced.
UN Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (2022)
I helped develop the outreach strategy for this UN agency's flagship Global Assessment Report, which assesses the world's readiness for responding to natural disasters. I helped to secure interview opportunities for a range of UN spokespeople, producing widespread coverage of the report in prominent international media including the Associated Press, Reuters, and Deutsche Welle.


Hungry for Action (2023)
I led the media engagement as part of a multi-channel campaign - which included social media advocacy, on the ground stunts, and other comms efforts - which sought to secure greater political attention and funding to address the world's rising hunger crisis in the aftermath of COVID-19 and the War in Ukraine. In particular, I drafted articles for the Heads of State for two African countries (Sierra Leone and Malawi), which made the call for greater action on this issue.
World Food Prize (2024)
I once again supported the media outreach and build-up to the announcement of the World Food Prize winners in 2024. I gathered key insights into the stories of both winners, adapting these as the basis for the narrative used to engage media. I delivered the media outreach for the award winners, securing interviews in Voice of America, Associated Press, and more.
